Earlier this month, our team travelled to the south of France for Millésime BIO in Montpellier - a gathering of organic winemakers from across Europe and a moment in the calendar we always look forward to. Rather than simply tasting from behind a table, we spent our time doing what matters most to us:meeting face-to-face with the winemakers we know and love, catching up on new vintages, and hearing the stories behind each harvest directly from the families who make them.

🍷 Time Well Spent with Our Winemakers
We met with several of our long-standing producers: La Providence and Famille Fabre, small, family-run estates whose wines reflect patience, place, and personality. These are partnerships built over years, not transactions. Sitting together, tasting new vintages, and hearing firsthand about the challenges and triumphs of the past harvest reminds us why we choose to work exclusively with independent organic winemakers.

From Montpellier, we headed to Aix-en-Provence to spend time with one of our winemakers, swapping busy tasting halls for vineyard air. Think slow walks through the vines, cellar pours straight from the barrel, and conversations drifting between farming, weather, and the personality of each vintage. Being there is always a reset, and a reminder of what matters most: real wine, made by real people, with genuine respect for the land.

Alongside reconnecting with familiar faces, we were also searching for new producers to bring fresh energy into the BOBO lineup. We’re always looking to expand thoughtfully, adding more variety while staying true to our focus on organically farmed, low-intervention wines with character and a strong sense of place.
